Welcome to London Black Women’s Project

London Black Women’s Project is a specialist and dedicated organisation for BME women and girls.

We support BME women and girls who experience violence and abuse and/or who are at risk.

We are committed to addressing all forms of violence against women and girls and to work towards a world that is free from violence and harm.

We believe non-violence is a reality that we must achieve by addressing oppressions that affect all our lives thus taking an intersectional approach to or work, by mobilising for structural transformation to address inequality and for a more just socio-economic system of interaction.

We offer women and girls with safe and confidential space and we work in ways that empower women and girls to achieve their full potential in society.

We wish to achieve this for individual women and girls and also ensure that the conditions and situations affecting the welfare and well-being of women and girls around the globe is equally addressed for the collective recovery from violence and fulfilment of potential.

Through our work, we aim to ensure a level playing field for women and girls based on equality of opportunity, fairness and social justice.

Women hold up half the sky. Girls shake the ground beneath our feet.

We accept self-referrals and referrals from other organisations.

We offer the following services and all our services are free of charge.
